Learn a full CFOP solve, one stage at a time

Step through a full CFOP solve in 3D: one scramble split into Cross, F2L, OLL, and PLL, each stage playable move by move.

How to use CFOP Solve

  1. Press Start CFOP Solve to load the 3D cube with a fresh scramble (or open a shared scramble link).
  2. Watch the solver break the solve into Cross, F2L, OLL, and PLL stages and play each one in 3D.
  3. Step through the moves at your own pace, then practice each stage until the cube returns to solved.

What the CFOP method does

CFOP (Cross, F2L, OLL, PLL) is the layer-by-layer method most speedcubers use to solve a Rubik's Cube. You build a cross on one face, pair and insert the first two layers (F2L), orient the last layer (OLL), then permute it (PLL) to finish.

CFOP Solve shows the full route for any scramble in 3D, so you can see exactly which algorithm each stage uses and rehearse it move by move instead of memorizing from a static sheet.

Frequently asked questions

Is CFOP Solve free?
Yes. CFOP Solve runs entirely in your browser at no cost, with no sign-up required.
How do I solve a Rubik's Cube with CFOP?
Solve the cross first, then the first two layers (F2L), then orient the last layer (OLL), and finally permute it (PLL). CFOP Solve walks you through each stage in order.
What are F2L, OLL, and PLL?
They are the CFOP stages after the cross: F2L pairs and inserts corner-edge blocks, OLL makes the whole top face one color, and PLL moves the last-layer pieces into place.
