Enter a scramble and inspect it in 3D

Generate or paste any scramble, then step through its shortest cross, or an F2L solution that keeps the cross, move by move in 3D.

How to use the 3D cube trainer

  1. Press Start 3D trainer to load the interactive cube, then generate a random state or paste your own scramble.
  2. Read the optimal D-Cross or D-Cross-preserving F2L solution the trainer finds for that state.
  3. Step through the moves one at a time in 3D, orbit the cube to inspect any angle, and share the case as a link.

What the 3D trainer does

The trainer takes any scramble and shows an optimal solution in 3D, so you can see exactly how the cross comes together instead of guessing at the moves. Enter a scramble by hand, paste one from another timer, or generate a random state to read.

It focuses on the two stages that reward planning ahead: the D-Cross and the first two layers. Cross solutions are minimal in HTM, and F2L cases keep the cross intact, so every move you rehearse survives to the finished layer.

Frequently asked questions

Is the 3D trainer free?
Yes. The trainer runs entirely in your browser with no sign-up, and nothing you enter leaves your device.
Can I paste my own scramble?
Yes. Type or paste any scramble in standard notation and the trainer replays it on the 3D cube before showing the solution.
What can I practice here?
The trainer focuses on the D-Cross and D-Cross-preserving F2L, giving an optimal route for the cross and a technique or near-optimal solution for the first two layers.
