What OLL does

OLL orients the last-layer pieces so the U face becomes one color. Their positions may still be wrong, and PLL solves that next.

2-look OLL and full OLL

2-look OLL first orients edges with EOLL, then corners with OCLL. It is a reliable start with fewer algorithms. Full OLL handles all 57 cases in one step, trading more recognition and memorization for speed.

Recognition basics

Start from the U face: identify the dot, line, L, or cross.
Once the edges are oriented, read the corner shape: Sune, Antisune, T, Pi and the rest.
Check the AUF, then hold the cube the way you learned each algorithm.
